Of course, they still have a ways to go, though . . .
Monday we went to the community Rec Center for Family Night to see if we wanted to invest in a monthly family pass. It has a track, weight/cardio room, basketball courts, classes, rock wall, and (the kids' favorite) a game room (complete with DDR, Guitar Hero, Wii, video bikes, billiards, and ping pong!)
Afterwards Brandon was working with Chris on some Cub Scout stuff and I overheard this:
Chris - Have you ever been to a game preserve?
Brandon - *Silent* Wondering if he has or hasn't.
Chris - Do you know what a game preserve is?
Brandon - Is it where we went tonight?
He may have passed 3rd grade but he's still got some learning to do (whether he knows it or not!)

On our way back to the Rec Center last night, we were discussing possible vacations spots. Since Grammie and Grampa Keysar live and work at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon this year, that was suggested first.
Matthew - I want to go someplace cool, but not scary.
Chris - Is the Grand Canyon scary? Are you afraid of heights?
Matthew - *Very cool and matter-of-factly* No, I'm afraid of pineapples.

Matthew there are no pineapples up here! :) Can't wait to see you guys. Love & Miss you all
Grampa says " Pineapples are harmless, bananas is what slips you up!"
