Monday was Elizabeth's fourth birthday. We celebrated as a family at home with presents, pink cake, and ice cream. This year she asked for a "Strawberry Shortcake" party. All I had to buy for her theme was a pink strawberry flavored cake and she was happy.
Earlier in the day I took the boys to the dollar store so they could each pick out something to give her:
Brandon gave her a mini hula hoop {or "hoowler looowp" as she says it}.
Sam chose a giant lollipop since he had promised her a sucker from school and then forgotten and eaten it. When Grammie said, "Wow! That's as big as your head!" She held it up to the back of head and said, "Mmhmm, yep, it is," very matter-of-factly.
Matthew gave her the sour candy...
Pucker up, sour puss!

Happy Birthday Elizabeth. Her pink party reminds me of the pink baby shower we held for you. It was our first introduction to Elizabeth! I can't believe how fast time flies.
