. . . when it's 108* outside and you've just run 19 miles?
Take a nice cool mud bath, of course!
29 August 2009 at the Stake Mud Football Activity
Our new stake has a fun tradition of flooding one of the local farm fields for a mud football game and mud playground followed by a barbecue. It was so much fun to get in the mud and get dirty!
We weren't able to stay for the dinner because Brandon learned, once again, that it is prudent to listen to your mother when she tells you to wear shoes in Arizona. He only walked a short way barefoot before they started to blister. Chris gave him his shoes and then his feet also blistered.
Despite the sore feet and some trepidation from the younger children, we'll be back next year. Heck, even taking "showers" with the hose in our backyard to clean off was fun :D

Wow that looks like fun. How do you get the mud out of ear holes.

Oh Man! I was looking all over for you at the BBQ- we didn't go to the mud football part. :(
That looks awesome! My boys would have loved that!
You are gorgeous Crystal! I heard you ran the marathon? You rock! You are amazing!
