Every year Santa finds a way to let the kids know he's been helping Mom and Dad. One year he left his hat. This year he tracked in mud from the rainstorm through the front door.
When I asked Matthew if it was his mess he replied very matter-of-factly, "No, those are Santa's."
And for you skeptics out there {ahem . . . Brandon and Sam . . .}, Matthew was quick to note that Santa's feet are even bigger than Daddy's.

Well of course Santa has big feet than Daddy's!!! I'm waitig to get emails from the kids telling all about their day with the new toys.

i told my husband to do that and he didn't. next year.
we had fun being at home and doing it all, stressful too.
so fun.
What a cute idea. We have some doubters in our family...one got the awesome privelege of being "Santa's Helper" this year. It was fun.
